Code Orange Instructions

Code Orange

PWCS has a designation, Code Orange, for days when weather conditions may be uncertain, or unsafe, for a limited period. On a Code Orange day, students will log in to Zoom and attend virtual classes. Code Red will still be used for severe weather days.

Here are instructions on how to log in to Zoom, Innovation Elementary's virtual classes application.

Logging in to PWCS Portal

PWCS Portal is used to access Lexia, Zearn, Seesaw, Gizmos, and other programs. Students may have an app verison of the program (e.g. Seesaw and Lexia) on their iPad that they can use instead of using PWCS Portal.

Accessing Canvas

Teachers will post information about schedules on their Canvas pages. Most teachers have posted their schedules in their Homeroom course in the Code Orange module. Canvas can be accessed via the iPad app or PWCS Portal.
