Meet our Admin Team

Kelle Stroud was named principal of Innovation Elementary School on May 6, 2022. She began her career with Prince William County Public Schools in 2007 as a fifth-grade teacher at Buckland Mills Elementary School. Throughout her time in PWCS, she has served as an assistant principal and later principal at Buckland Mills before being selected to lead Innovation Elementary School.

Prior to moving to Virginia, Mrs. Stroud taught in California, Washington, and North Carolina. She earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne.

As the spouse of a retired United States Marine, Mrs. Stroud values service, resilience, and the importance of strong communities. She is passionate about creating a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential.

Ms. Brandy Masters is proud to serve as the Assistant Principal of Innovation Elementary School, where she is beginning her fourth year in this position. She has dedicated 28 years to Prince William County Public Schools, serving students and families as a fifth-grade teacher, ESOL teacher, and virtual learning assistant principal before transitioning to Innovation Elementary.

Ms. Masters earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Shepherd University, a Master's degree in Multicultural Multilingual Education from George Mason University, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.

It is a true privilege and honor to serve as the Assistant Principal of our amazing school. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to build relationships with students and families and to be part of a community that cares so deeply about children. Every day, I have the honor of working with amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families who make our school such a special place. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved, and I am passionate about helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and realize their full potential.

My heart is in creating a school where every student feels a sense of belonging, and every family feels welcomed and supported. I believe strong relationships, high expectations, and genuine care can make a lasting difference in a child's life. My goal is to help ensure that all students leave our school not only academically prepared, but also knowing they are capable, important, and surrounded by people who believe in them. It is a privilege to serve this community and to be a part of each child's journey.

Ms. Haston earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from High Point University and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. She has a special connection to Innovation Elementary, having helped open the school as a second-grade classroom teacher. She later served as Innovation’s Administrative Intern before becoming Assistant Principal.

Throughout her career, Ms. Haston has remained passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. She believes every child deserves to feel known, valued, supported, and challenged while having opportunities to discover and develop their unique strengths and talents.

Ms. Haston is honored to continue serving the Falcon community and is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and nurturing learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve at high levels, demonstrate respect and responsibility, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
